Hello! My name is Soham, and I am a senior at South Windsor High School. Together with my sister, I founded the Neurofibromatosis Support Association (NFSA) to raise awareness about neurofibromatosis (NF) and inspire positive change within our community, while sharing the stories of families affected by this condition. I am also the founder of FlowWrite, a platform designed to help individuals share their personal stories. I plan to major in business in college. In my free time, I enjoy playing the trombone, reading, and writing.
Hey, my name is Shruti and I am a sophomore in high school. I, alongside my brother, founded the NFSA with the goal of creating a space where the youth in our community could advocate for positive change regarding NF research and funding. In the future, I plan to enter the medical field, and have a specific interest in radiology. In my free time, I love to read, dance, and listen to music.
My name is Akhil, and I am a sophomore in high school. I am the outreach specialist at the NFSA, and it's my job to get in touch and build relationships with others in our community. Through the NFSA, I would like to gain more insight from others and their journey through NF, while also making them feel valued. Starting from South Windsor, I aim for this initiative to raise beyond into the state as a whole.
Hey! My name is Dhanya and I am the Legislative Liaison for the NFSA! My job is to stay up to date with any legislation passed relating to NF research/funding, and advocate for it with lawmakers. I'm a part of NFSA as I truly wanted to bring awareness to a condition that isn't widely known, but is still really important. Outside of this, I enjoy reading in bed with a steaming hot mug of hot chocolate!

Hey! My name is Anvitha and I'm a sophomore in high school. I'm the fundraising coordinator of the NFSA, meaning I come up with creative ways to raise money for the NF cause. I'm currently looking to go into the medical field and I'm so excited to be a part of this organization to broaden my skills and make an impact. I'm also a Bharatnatyam dancer and heavily involved in Scouts BSA.
Hi, my name is Maham and I'm a sophomore in high school. I'm the social media manager at the NFSA, and I make sure our socials are up to date and engaging. My hope for my future career is to major in the biology field and I can't wait to be a part of this amazing project! A fun fact about me is that even though I'm a lefty, I play tennis and volleyball with my left hand!
Hi, I'm Samaira, and I'm a sophomore in high school and the website manager for the NFSA. I'm responsible for keeping you updated with the latest news and information you see on our site. In my free time, I love reading novels, painting, and listening to musicc as a way to unwind. My dream is to pursue a career in pediatrics, where I can further my passion for helping others--just as I do now by keeping you informed about this important issue!
